Rusty Smith, Owner/Sales
Rusty Smith has been a manufacturer’s representative for 29 years. Rusty’s sales career began as an outside salesman for an EASA shop in Joplin MO in 1989. In 1992 Rusty was hired as territory manager for McCrary Industrial Sales, a manufacturers representative company, to cover Southern Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Texas and Louisiana were added in 1998.
Rusty has learned through years of experience that the relationship between customer and manufacturer is key to maintaining long term partnerships. Customer service has always been a priority and solving customer problems with high quality products solidifies that relationship.

Christy Smith,
Owner/Marketing
Christy brings 30 years of sales, marketing and design to the Smith Industrial Power team. She began her career working for her families business and, out of necessity, learned every part of the business. She soon discovered she thrived in customer service, solving problems, hunting down products, upselling and quickly moved into other sales rolls with in the company. As time went by she brought creativity and marketing insight to the fast growing business and helped grow it to 7 million a year in sales.
In 2008 she went on to start her own agency, focusing on Marketing and Design and helping small businesses grow. She developed 100's of business relationships and stumbled into this industry when designing a website in 2017 for John Zimmermann.
Her Specialties: Sales, Social Media Marketing, SEO, Branding, Graphic and Web Design, Digital Marketing, Usability, Print & Ad Design.
